Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says unity is the only solution to extricate Muslims from their sufferings which are being caused by the US and Zionists.

An activist and  Muslim scholar believes there are “criminal elements” who keep fanning the flames of disunity, adding that Saudi Arabia and Israel are the two entities that have been "creating, fostering and nurturing" sectarian strife in the Muslim world.

“We have some very despicable figures here in England who have been pushing a very insane brand of what they call Shiasm but it has nothing to do with Shiasm, but anyone with half a brain knows that these people have support, they have backing and the backing comes from the two main culprits out in the Middle East, the two countries that are both illegal entities, that are both Zionists and they are both designed to create corruption on the land - mainly Israel and Saudi Arabia,” Shabbir Hassanally told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.

He also stated the sectarian element in the Syrian conflict has been “ramped up hugely” since the victory of the resistance bloc against terrorists in the embattled northwestern city of Aleppo.

He went on to say the language that is being used across the media is extremely “virulent” and “nasty”, arguing that it completely matches the way Zionists have spoken in the past.

Hassanally further noted the United States is distancing itself from the Saudi regime because in the next five years, the entire construct of what is currently known as Saudi Arabia will change.

“Even though America and everyone have bolstered it [Saudi Arabia] and given them everything they possibly can, it is still incompetent, they do not have the intelligence or the ability to achieve anything,” he said.

He also opined that the Saudi royal family can no longer sustain governance due to the existing infighting among the family members.
