Palestinians take new anti-settlement resolution to UN

The Palestinian Authority has circulated a draft resolution condemning Israeli settlements in the occupied territories. They plan to bring it to a vote at the UN Security Council before US President Barack Obama leaves office next month with hopes that the outgoing US administration will not veto the resolution as it did before.
