NHL: Bruins beat Canadiens 2-1 in overtime

In the National Hockey League, the Boston Bruins edged past the Montreal Canadiens, 2-1 in overtime.

With the score tied at 1-all in the regulation time, the game was taken into overtime. That’s where Ryan Spooner scored the game-winner for Boston, who ended a three-game skid with the victory.

The Bruins will return to the ice on Wednesday night when the team faces defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins.
