Clock ticking for South Korean president with impeachment looming

South Korea’s National Assembly approved a motion Thursday to vote to impeach President Park Geun-hye over a corruption scandal within her administration. The formal casting of ballots on impeachment will take place at 3 PM local time on Friday. Meanwhile, protests continue across the capital Seoul, with demonstrators calling for the removal of the embattled President.
