NHL: Minnesota Wild beat Maple Leafs 3-2

In the National Hockey League, the Minnesota Wild beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in Toronto, Canada.

Minnesota were leading 2-nothing midway through the first period when Ben Smith scored for the Maple Leafs to give his side something to cheer about.

But Eric Staal’s goal early in the second proved to be the game winner. The goal was Eric’s sixth of the season.
