Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have registered a 1-nil win over Atletico Madrid at the Allianz Arena.
28 minutes into the match and the Bavarians took the lead through Robert Lewandowski who dispatched a superb free-kick to make it 1-nil and also settle the game as Bayern made it 15 wins in a row in the competition at home. Atletico, however, finished ahead of Bayern Munich at the top of group D despite the defeat.
