The national library of Australia is hosting an exhibition covering 200 years of advertising in the country.

The exhibition displays the most outstanding slogans, posters, flyers, books and other creations which made an impression on the Australian cultural landscape.

The advertisers are from the 1790s to the 1990s. Among items on display is the country's first ever printed document; a promotion for a theater show. The fair runs until April next year.
