Formula One action is set to return to France after a 10-year absence. French officials have announced that the French Grand Prix will be included in the Formula One calendar in 2018.

The race will be organized at the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France. The grand prix was last held in central France in 2008.

The country first hosted the race back in 1906 but it was dropped from the calendar because the organizers were unable to fund it. Just days ago, Germany was dropped from next year’s calendar after the country failed to complete a deal with Formula one organizers.
