In the Spanish League, Athletic Bilbao overpowered visiting Eibar 3-1, as the team is back in the fight for a Europa League spot.
Beñat Etxebarria put the hosts ahead in the 42nd minute with a superb free kick, before Inaki Williams added to Bilbao’s lead 10 minutes after the interval, sending a low shot between the legs of the goalie.
Eibar pulled one back through Sergi Enrich in the 70th minute, but Iker Muniain sealed Bilbao's victory after a counterattack in the second-half’s injury time.
