The American professional basketball team, Detroit Pistons, have tied a team record with 17 3-pointers in a 121 to 85 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 15 of his 23 points on the night in the opening quarter and finished the first half with 20 points to lead the Pistons into the locker room with a convincing 58-39 advantage.

Detroit kept up the pace in the rest of the game and Dwight Howard and the Atlanta Hawks were no match for them and the visitors held on to beat the Hawks 121-85 for their 5th win out of 6.
