Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla ruled out of action for 3 months
Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is to undergo surgery which will keep him out of action for another 3 months.
The Spain international has been absent since picking up the injury in his ankle back in October. Arsenal have confirmed that the key midfielder will travel to Sweden next week to undergo the procedure.
Cazorla now joins Per Mertesacker, Hector Bellerin, and Olivier Giroud among a few others on the treatment table at Arsenal.
The gunners are currently 4th in the English Premier League standings and are just 3 points off league leaders Manchester City.
The injuries could be a major setback for manager Arsene Wenger’s side who got off to a promising start this season.
