United manager Jose Mourinho charged with improper conduct by FA

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been charged for improper conduct by England’s Football Association after kicking a bottle in frustration during the Red Devils’ draw with West Ham at the weekend. 

The 53-year-old Portuguese received his marching orders in the 27th minute of the match at Old Trafford for kicking a water bottle on the touchline after Paul Pogba was booked for diving.

Mourinho has until 18:00 GMT on the first of December to respond to the charge.

Just a month ago, Mourinho was sent off for verbal misconduct during United’s match against Burnley. He received a one-match ban and an 8000-pound fine for that incident. This time, Mourinho is expected to receive a touchline ban alongside a fine.
