Spanish prosecutors are seeking a jail term for former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o for alleged tax crimes.
Spanish prosecutors want to imprison Eto'o for 10 years as punishment. Public prosecutors also say the Cameroon star must pay over 15 Million Dollars as a fine for defrauding Spain's tax authority of almost four Million Dollars from 2006 to 2009.
Eto’o and his Lawyers have not yet reacted to the accusations. This comes a day after Spanish prosecutors recommended a two-year jail sentence be given to Barcelona striker Neymar for his part in a corruption case. Barcelona super star Lionel Messi was also convicted in July for tax fraud.
