Manchester United have cruised past Feyenoord in the Europa League at Old Trafford, thanks to stunning performances from Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney.

A bright start from Man United saw the hosts take the lead ten minutes before the interval when Rooney beautifully clipped the ball over the goalie, to become the Red Devils all-time leading scorer in Europe.

Juan Mata's close range effort in the 70the minute was followed by a third when Feyenoord’s keeper deflected Zlatan’s cross into his own net.

And Jesse Lingard added a fourth just before the final whistle to make it Jose Mourinho's biggest win as Manchester United boss.

The victory has moved the Red Devils into second position in group A and left them only needing one point from their final group match against Zorya Luhansk early next month to qualify for the last-16 stage.
