In the National Hockey League, Sidney Crosby scored twice as the Pittsburgh Penguins crushed the New York Rangers 6-1 on Wednesday night.

The Rangers got on the score sheet first, on Rick Nash's power play goal in the first period. But things changed in the second period as Pittsburgh scored five unanswered goals.

Later in the third period, Matt Cullen redirected Justin Schultz’s shot to give Pittsburgh a comfortable 6-1 lead.
