A Chinese start-up company has unveiled the fastest electric vehicle in the world. The super car is named ‘NIO EP9’.

The revolutionary vehicle was made after 18 months of non-stop work to design and test it. It's a two-seater car with four high-performance inboard motors and four individual gearboxes. It’s capable of moving at speeds of up to 313 kilometers per hour.

The car will go on sale next year with a price tag of more than one million dollars. The car weighs one thousand 735 kilograms and is powered by two water cooled lithium batteries that can be fully charged in 45 minutes.

Inside the car, it’s full of state-of-the-art technology. There are even sensors that monitor the heart rates of both the driver and passenger.
