Ethnic festival "Big Argish" held in Russian polar region

Since 2010, the indigenous peoples of Taimyr are involved in ethnic festival in Norilsk “Big Argish”.

The Russian city of Norilsk in Siberia’s Krasnoyarsk region is hosting a local festival called the "Big Argish". The festival is an opportunity for those who want to get acquainted with life, culture and language of the Taimyr ethnic groups living in Russia's far north. Our correspondent in Moscow has visited the festival to see one of the biggest events dedicated to the Arctic culture in the Russian North.
