Uruguayan kids receive 3D printed prosthetic hands

Atomic lab is a startup focused on developing affordable prostheses for people in need in South America.

An Argentine inventor has donated 3D printed prostheses to Uruguayan children with disabilities.

20 Children in Montevideo received the artificial hands designed and printed by Gino Tubaro, inventor and Atomic Lab CE. All prosthetic organs were specifically customized to the unique wants and requirements of each child. The kids were given enough time to play and examine the hands to get used to them.

Atomic lab is a startup focused on developing affordable prostheses for people in need in South America. Gino and his partners, use a small 3D printer powered by a USB port to print out the artificial organs as part of their program called Hand4Hand.
