The visiting Memphis Grizzlies have posted an 80-64 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.

Both teams started the match quite strong on Friday as they ended the first quarter at 19-all. But the Grizzlies upped the pressure in the second frame and went ahead by 7 points at 36-29.

Chandler Parsons then drained two three-pointers in the third to extend Memphis’ advantage to 13 points.

The home side, however did not give up, Jonathan Gibson somehow squeezed through for a layup that cut the Mavericks deficit to 51-39 late in the same period. But a Vince Carter three-pointer in the fourth quarter made it 59-41 for the visitors, and from there Memphis continued their great performance to win the match 80-64.
