Eco-friendly hybrid car unveiled ahead of LA Auto Show

At the automobile exhibition in Los Angeles American company, Elio Motors unveiled the E1c engineering vehicle, showing off an upgraded interior and safety systems, as well as a new frame and suspension system.

A US-based car company has released a new three-wheeled tandem that is claimed to be eco-friendly despite running on fossil fuels.

Elio Motors unveiled the E1c to media and dealers ahead of LA Auto Show. While most cars designed with environmental concerns use an alternative source of energy, Elio runs on fuel. But the two-seat economy vehicle consumes a small amount of fuel, and produces much less CO2 than other cars.

The designers at Elio Motors consider the vehicle a bridge to the future. The fuel-efficient car is classified as a motorcycle but is designed and equipped to look like a car.
