US foreign policy and Palestine
Some argue that it does not matter who won the US presidential election when it comes to US foreign policy on Palestine and Israel. Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton would have a detrimental effect on the Palestinian people and their fight for liberation and freedom.
Trump has always been a strong supporter of Israel. His Islamophobic language and his consistent attacks on Muslims throughout his presidential election campaign have led to many fearing that his victory will exacerbate and normalize hateful language.
Clinton, too, is a well known advocate of the Israeli regime and has a close relationship with the Israeli lobbying group AIPAC.
