World No. 1 tennis player Andy Murray has cruised into the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals after a straight sets win over Switzerland’s Stan Wawrinka at London’s O2 Arena.

Murray crushed US Open champion Wawrinka 6-4, 6-2 on Friday to win his group and stay on course for a season-ending climax with world number 2 Novak Djokovic.

With the victory, Murray extended his winning streak to 22 matches and set up a semi-final against Canada’s Milos Raonic.

Two more wins here and the Brit will grab his maiden ATP World Tour Finals title and the year-end number one ranking for the first time.

Four-time champion Djokovic, whose 122-week reign as world number 1 ended last week, has also won his 3 group matches and will face Japan's Nishikori in the other semi-final.
