CIS nations to implement unified payment system

The nations of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) including Tajikistan are going to implement unified payment system.

A new payment system called MIR will soon be in running order across six post-Soviet states including Tajikistan. The Russian-proposed platform has been introduced to reduce reliance of these nations on Western platforms such as Visa and Master. Our correspondent Hooman Abedi reports from Dushanbe.
