Ronaldo signs new five-year contract with Real Madrid

Portuguese ace Cristiano Ronaldo has extended his contract with Real Madrid for another 5 years on Monday. 

The 31-year-old, who is Real’s all-time top scorer with 371 goals in 360 games, had signed to stay with the club until the June of 2018.

But the new deal will now see the striker tied to Madrid until the year 2021. This is while, CR7 has said that the new contract would not be the last deal he signs, and added that he wants to finish his career at Real.

The 3-time world’s best football player, has collected one La Liga title, 2 King's Cups and 2 Champions League titles since joining Real from English side Manchester United back in 2008.

Other Madrid players in the queue for re-newals include defender Pepe, and playmaker Isco.
