Ankara slammed for ‘crackdown on media’

A new report released by media right groups in Turkey has slammed Ankara's crackdown on media.

A recent report by media rights group Reporters Without Borders, has criticized what it calls an ongoing crackdown on media by the Turkish government. The report comes at a time when a state of emergency which has been in place in the country following a failed coup in July has facilitated the shutdown of media organizations.
