Italian banks struggling to stay afloat

Italy’s banking system is plagued by an enormous surfeit of non-performing loans. As a result, banks are trying to survive by cutting several thousands of jobs across the country. Our correspondent Max Civili has investigated the reasons behind the crisis in Italy's banking system.
