Electricity sector in Iran needs $25b investment by 2021: official

Iran’s energy ministry says some 25 billion dollars of investment would be required by 2021 to materialize the planned 5.5 percent annual growth in the country’s electricity sector. Hamid Chitchian says improving environmental standards and increasing renewable energy power stations are high on the agenda of Iran’s energy policy.
