Humanoids dominate World Robot Conference in Beijing
Incredible Humanoid robots have dominated a show at the World Robot Conference in Beijing, due to their physical similarities to humans.
One intelligent droid that is named “Jia Jia” is capable of understanding human language, detecting facial expressions, and making body movements.
But engineers say there is still much room for improvements so that the robot can interact more deeply with people. Another machine has impressed visitors with his calligraphy skills, by using a similar style used by a legendary Chinese philosopher.
There are also robots for domestic cleaning, entertainment, education and rehabilitation.
