Russia’s Karen Khachanov has eased his way into the 2nd round of the Erste Bank Open following a straight sets victory over Italy’s Andreas Seppi in Vienna.

Khachanov, who won his first ATP World Tour title earlier this month in Chengdu, showed an outstanding performance on Monday, as he dismantled his Italian opponent with a score line of 6-4, 6-4 to reach the next round of the contest.

That’s while Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic also moved into round 2, after hitting 16 Aces, to beat last year's runner-up Steve Johnson 7-6, 6-3.
