Voiceless choir raises throat cancer awareness across UK

The voiceless choir to raise throat cancer awareness.

A voiceless choir is touring across the UK in a bid to raise awareness about throat cancer.

'Shout at Cancer' is a team of cancer survivors who are equipped with artificial voice boxes that help them shout at the disease that robbed them of their voices.

The team is supported by doctors, speech therapists, researchers, singers and actors who have joined voices with the patients to help the people rebuild their lives after laryngectomy.

They plan on expanding their tour across the UK to give a new voice to the people who have endured the same process of losing their voice boxes.

Throat cancer affects the larynx severely and in many cases leads to voice box removal surgery.
