Mexican artists adorn US border fence with graffiti
To promote peace between the US and Mexico, artists have started adorning a stretch of the border fence with giant graffiti.
Mexican artists say the message behind the initiative is unity between the two countries at a time when relations have been strained by a presidential race that has put the border fence at center stage.
The project, which includes a giant mural of a Mexican flag superimposed with a handshake, is launched in the border town of Mexicali. Artists say the project that is expected to finish soon, will cover 900 square meters of the border fence.
