“Iran opposed to foreign intervention in Iraq affairs”

Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior aide to the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has condemned what he calls attempts by foreign countries to intervene in Iraq’s internal affairs. Velayati, who’s in Baghdad for talks with senior Iraqi officials and to attend the 9th meeting of the Islamic Awakening Council, also reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to helping Iraq in its battle to liberate Mosul from Daesh terrorists.
