Iraqi forces launch a massive assault against Daesh in Mosul

The Iraqi army and its allied Kurdish forces made fresh gains against Daesh terrorists on the second day of the Mosul operation. More territory was secured on Tuesday and the Iraqi forces managed to de-mine some of the main roads linking Mosul to the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region Erbil.
