Since the start of October, Israel has issued administrative detention orders for 300 Palestinians. According to the Palestinian Prisoners' society, Palestinians have been arrested and placed under administrative detention for periods of between two and six months, while others have their detention prolonged. This comes at a time when six Palestinian prisoners are on a hunger strike to protest the policy which they consider as unjust.
