5th Wingsuit Flying World Championship held in China's Hunan province

Central China's Hunan province is hosting the 5th Wingsuit Flying World Championship.

Sixteen athletes from nine countries are participating in the event. The 1.7-kilometer flight route covers the whole length of the valley of the ‘Tianmen Mountain’.

Earlier the contestants jumped off a cliff from a height of 1500 meters, dived straight for about 200 meters and flew over the mountain at 200 kilometers per hour. The competitors will also fly in pairs, fighting for a seat in the quarter-finals.
