Talking meteorite displayed in Mexican Museum of Contemporary Art

The Mexican Museum of Contemporary Art has displayed a talking meteorite in Mexico City.

A “talking” meteorite display in Mexico City has left both scientists and art lovers in a state of awe.

The Mexican Museum of Contemporary Art is exhibiting a 3.3-ton meteorite while the sounds coming out of the space-debris create a mystical ambiance for the audience.

The artists at Ex Teresa Arte Museum have designed a special tool that can capture the sounds produced by the magnetic field of the meteorite named “La Concepcion”.

Artists Marcela Armas and Gilberto Esparza consider the displayed “rock-star” an ambassador of the outside world to our planet. The artists also describe the acoustic features of the exhibition as poetic and relaxing.
