Hossein Bagheri wins Iran's first medal in shooting at ISSF World Cup

Iran’s Hossein Bagheri has won the country's first medal in shooting at the 2016 ISSF World Cup final held in Bolonia, Italy.

Iran’s Hossein Bagheri has won the Islamic Republic's first medal in shooting, at the 2016 ISSF World Cup final held in Bologna, Italy.

On the first day of the competition, Bagheri managed to grab bronze for Iran in the men's 10 meter air rifle with a total score of 186.1.

Hungarian Peter Sidi took gold with 207.7 points, while Vladimir Maslennikov of Russia settled for silver. That’s while in the women’s 10 meter air rifle event Iran’s Elaheh Ahmadi finished 7th.
