World Cup qualifier: France crush Bulgaria 4-1

France has crushed Bulgaria 4-1 in a World Cup Group A qualifier.

Bulgaria claimed a surprise early lead in the Friday match, after Georgi Milanov wrong-footed Bacary Sagna in the box and was clipped by the defender to earn a penalty. Aleksandrov struck from the spot to score.

But Les Bleus succeeded to control the game and ended the match with goals from Kevin Gameiro, Dimitri Payet, Antoine Griezmann.

France, with four points from two games, is joint top of the group alongside Netherlands and Sweden.
