World Cup qualifier: Spain prepare to face Italy
Spain have held a training session ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Italy.
The Spaniards will be seeking revenge when they take on old rivals Italy in Turin on Thursday. The Italians posted a 2-0 victory over Spain in the round of 16 at the European Championship to end their bid for a third consecutive continental title.
Both teams have won their opening Group G fixture and for this match. Italy will be without defender Jorjo Kielini. He has been suspended for receiving a red card in the first match of the competitions.
Meanwhile, Austria have also been gearing up for their Group D World Cup qualifier against Wales.
Austria opened their qualifying campaign with a shaky 2-1 win over Georgia. That's while Wales won their opener by thrashing Moldova 4-nil at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Austrians will host the Dragons in Vienna on Thursday, before taking on Serbia in Belgrade 3 days later.
Austria have won 3, drawn 1, and lost 2 of their 6 meetings with Wales. The last one being a 2-1 Wales' victory in a friendly match back in 2013.
Argentina will also go head to head with Peru in the 2018 World Cup qualifier in Lima on Thursday.
