World number two Andy Murray and fourth seeded Rafael Nadal have all made it through to the second round of China Open tennis tournament in Beijing on Tuesday.

Murray edged past Italy's Andreas Seppi for a place in the next round. The British top seed broke service twice in the opening set, but had to come back from 2-love down in the second before sealing victory when Seppi double faulted on match point.
