Israel enforces closure on West Bank, Gaza on Jewish New Year

The Israeli military is closing all checkpoints between the occupied West Bank, the besieged Gaza Strip, and Israel, on the Jewish New Year holidays. Tel Aviv says the 5-day shutdown is aimed maintaining security. Palestinians, however, are angry at the move and see it as part of Israel’s aggression.
