School children and residents of Pyongyang visit the city zoo’s newly built Museum of Natural History.

The museum was added after North Korea’s central zoo was remodeled in late July. It has proved to be very popular among students and other citizens.

The 35,000 square meter museum features dinosaur skeleton mockups and educational videos on the origins of the solar system and the evolution of life on Earth. North Korea’s central zoo opened in 1959 and was renovated in 2014.
