Kabul signs peace agreement with militant group

Finally after 15 years of fighting, famous Afghan warlord, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and his Hezb-e-Islami militant group have put down their arms and signed a truce deal with the government in Kabul. The agreement has raised hopes that other militant groups in the war-torn country might take the same path in the near future and choose stability over violence.
