Futsal World Cup: Argentina defeat Portugal 5-2
Argentina faced Portugal on Wednesday night in the second FIFA Futsal World Cup semifinal in Colombia. And they managed to reach the finals for the first time ever after defeating Portugal 5-2.
Argentina entered this match following a 5-0 victory over Egypt in the quarterfinals while Portugal defeated Azerbaijan 3-2. But Argentina were simply too good for Portugal in the semis as they went down 5-2.
Argentina will next face Russia in the final on Saturday first of October. Meanwhile, Portugal will face Iran in the match for third place earlier on the same day.
