Dutch designers introduce smartphone isolation box
Addiction to smartphones is a major problem nowadays. Dutch designers have a solution for those who cannot stop checking their cell phones.
They have designed a smart box which fits up to 4 phones at a time. It is called ‘DistractaGone’. The box can be used to lock up cell phones with a time code selected by the user.
Once the box is locked, the only way to get the phone out is to wait until the timer has fully expired or to open the smart box forcefully.
‘DistractaGone’ is still in prototyping stage, and the design team has started a campaign to get the product to the market.
