Leicester City prepare to face Porto in Champions League

Leicester City have been preparing for their 1st ever Champions League match at the King Power Stadium, as they welcome 2-time European champions Porto.

So far, the Foxes have done quite well in the tournament, after defeating Belgium’s Club Brugge 3-0 on their European debut.

And on Tuesday, they’ll be looking to continue their excellent performance in the competition against their Portuguese opponent, to maintain their top spot in Group G.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has said that Kasper Schmeichel may return to the starting list after missing the trip to Old Trafford due injury.

Meanwhile, defending champions Real Madrid face a tough test against German side Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park in their second group-stage game of the UEFA Champions League.

Zinedine Zidane’s men left it late to beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 in their first Group F match two weeks ago.

The 11-time European champions’ recent lackluster displays have seen their 16-game winning streak in La Liga snapped and their lead at the top of the table cut to a single point.

The Spanish giants will also need to overcome a poor record in Germany as they’ve won only 4 out of 30 competitive games in the country and have lost their last 3 visits to Dortmund.

However, despite all these, manager Zidane says his side will have their eye on the full three points when they meet the Germans.
