Over to football and the Spanish La Liga, where leaders Real Madrid have been held to a 2-all draw by Las Palmas.

Zinedine Zidane’s men took the lead just after the half-hour mark, when Marco Asensio found the back of the net, after Nacho’s effort was saved.

Las Palmas drew level just five minutes later when midfielder Tana took advantage of some poor defending.

Real moved in front once again through Karim Benzema who fired-in after Varas had denied Cristiano Ronaldo's initial effort.

Substitute Sergio Araujo, however, salvaged a valuable draw for Las Palmas when he scored 6 minutes from time, handing Madrid a second La Liga draw in 4 days.
