Dani Pedrosa has clocked the fastest time in practice at Spain’s Aragon circuit ahead of the weekend's race.
Pedrosa piped his Honda teammate Marc Marquez by just 0.065sec with a best time of 1min 48.429sec in the second practice session on Friday afternoon.
Another Honda rider Cal Crutchlow of Britain was third and Yamaha rider, Valentino Rossi ended 4th.
Meanwhile, defending champion Jorge Lorenzo, who has won at Aragon for the past two seasons, was only seventh fastest, 0.485sec back.
The Spanish rider claimed his first victory in San Marino two weeks ago to become a record 8th different winner in the last 8 races in the process.
