Scientists and researchers in Argentina have excavated a gigantic meteorite weighing 30 tones. This is the second biggest meteorite to be recorded.

The meteorite was pulled from a famous crash site in the northeastern Argentine town of ‘Gancedo.’

Excavators estimate that the meteorite shower from which the 30-ton rock originates took place around four thousand years ago.

The world's largest one was found in Namibia in the beginning of the 20th century. It weighs over 60 tons. But due to its huge size, it has never been removed.
