US boosts tension on Korean peninsula

The US is sticking to its confrontational strategy in the wake of North Korea’s fifth nuclear test. Washington has flown nuclear-capable bombers over South Korea. The bombers, accompanied by South Korean fighter jets, patrolled the border with North Korea in a show of force. This comes as many argue Washington's aggressive strategy together with sanctions against Pyongyang has only exacerbated tensions on the Korean peninsula.
